Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Volker Merseburger started the match with the kick off. Ibrahim Hermel took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Schott. Peter Schott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gilbert Unger kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Gilbert Unger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RB Hallstadt and the Knüver players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes RB Hallstadt got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Unger. Herbert Piltz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Mundanjohl having to make a save. The supporters of Knüver booed when RB Hallstadt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwin Mulder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Unger kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Max Narr's late challenge caught a Knüver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Max Narr helped the player get up and apologised. 34 minutes into the game, one of RB Hallstadt:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. RB Hallstadt:s Peter Schott showed great skill when he stopped Emanuel Schwenke:s penalty. In the 38th minute Bastiaan Fersoglu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Erwin Mulder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Schott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Schoppe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Bastiaan Fersoglu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of RB Hallstadt's Peter Schott. Peter Schott was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bastiaan Fersoglu to make the kick off. Peter Schott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastiaan Fersoglu in the 51st minute of the match. In the 51st minute, Dick Schoppe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Volker Merseburger kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Marcel Teuwen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knüver's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Teuwen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Schott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, RB Hallstadt's Peter Schott got control of the ball when Marcel Teuwen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Schott made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dick Schoppe in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Bastiaan Fersoglu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Peter Schott, 0-4. In the 70th minute Bastiaan Fersoglu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dick Schoppe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Peter Schott made a huge save. Herbert Piltz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Mundanjohl having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Knüver's Ibrahim Hermel got a free kick in the 80th minute. Peter Schott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastiaan Fersoglu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Schott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Kipping, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Dick Schoppe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Schott having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Bastiaan Fersoglu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dick Schoppe came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Peter Schott could save by the left post. The RB Hallstadt fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Knüver were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
