The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Haaf during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes, GKS Witosa's Till Schröder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Max Åström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GKS Witosa reached it. Max Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heinrich Dietz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Till Schröder in the 38th minute of play forced Ratekau's goalkeeper Max Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Marek Hirsch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ratekau's Max Åström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Ratekau from getting a goal against them. Marco Mussies charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Mussies the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Ratekau got a freekick which was hit by Marco Mussies. GKS Witosa's Jonah Chille was substituted for Hermann Bracht. If Marek Hirsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Ratekau's goal looked a bit too open when Heinrich Dietz came free, but Max Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ratekau's Max Åström got control of the ball when Till Schröder tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by GKS Witosa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artur Dettmar was slow to take the kick. During this time Ratekau's players had a chance to rest. In the 84th minute Heinrich Dietz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heinrich Dietz didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 84th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Heinrich Dietz ran dejectedly back to his position. Luciano Aurken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, GKS Witosa's Heinrich Dietz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Max Åström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. When the match was over GKS Witosa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ratekau throughout the match.
