Bhavin Pandya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Kazimierz Czekaj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Bochinski in the 13th minute of play forced 13. Ballista Battalion's goalkeeper David Wooster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kazimierz Czekaj made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when David Melling sent off a good shot on target. Bhavin Pandya was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Napoleon Fronczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Wooster having to interfere. David Melling came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kazimierz Czekaj could save by the left post. In the 38th minute Bhavin Pandya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Czekaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kazimierz Czekaj made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Bhavin Pandya sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, 13. Ballista Battalion's Bhavin Pandya dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Wooster showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Napoleon Fronczak was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, one of 13. Ballista Battalion's supporters rose to their feet, but David Melling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kazimierz Czekaj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of 13. Ballista Battalion booed when FC Zalesie Górne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lech Waldoch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute David Houston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Czekaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wit Bochinski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of David Wooster when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC Zalesie Górne's Kazimierz Czekaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Thompson in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the 13. Ballista Battalion players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
