After 21 minutes, Felipe Sauveur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Parque F.C. and the Sauce players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sixto Isidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Sauce's Leonel Garcia got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Venancio Bilbo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sauce's Cesar Maldonado. Cesar Maldonado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venancio Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Maldonado having to interfere. Venancio Bilbo came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cesar Maldonado could save by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Felipe Sauveur got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 53rd minute, Felipe Sauveur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Parque F.C.'s Sixto Isidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save El Parque F.C. from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, El Parque F.C.'s goalkeeper Sixto Isidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Normando.
