Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adrien Jude started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Keith Lazarus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Christian Tingberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Horan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Adrien Jude had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrien Jude in the 15th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Republic of Jämtland got a freekick which was hit by Birger Lundberg. In the 21st minute, Republic of Jämtland's Thomas Stenkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Denis Horan. Denis Horan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 25th minute of the match, Isaac Strömbom got a very nice opportunity to score, but Denis Horan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Denis Horan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Nykvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes, Adrien Jude mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 3. Mead Marauders and the Republic of Jämtland players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute Adrien Jude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, 3. Mead Marauders's goalkeeper Denis Horan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Strömbom. Edward Bennet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Larkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Adrien Jude recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Bennet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Republic of Jämtland's goal looked a bit too open when Adrien Jude came free, but Edward Bennet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Sean Hopwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. 3. Mead Marauders's supporters rose to their feet, but Sean Hopwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Bennet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edward Bennet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrien Jude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Thomas Stenkvist made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Adrien Jude could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Edward Bennet however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Republic of Jämtland's Edward Bennet got control of the ball when Sean Hopwood tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Bennet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrien Jude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birger Lundberg hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Republic of Jämtland's Edward Bennet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Republic of Jämtland from getting a goal against them. 3. Mead Marauders's Denis Horan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Tingberg in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Ian Bateman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Robin Lundgren came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Republic of Jämtland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Lundgren couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Republic of Jämtland getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gustaf Söderberg hit a great ball. In the 78th match minute, 3. Mead Marauders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keith Lazarus to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 83 minutes, Adrien Jude managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 3. Mead Marauders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrien Jude was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Horan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Tingberg in the 85th minute of the match. Daniel Clyde struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Edward Bennet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 3. Mead Marauders. In the 94th minute Isaac Strömbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Horan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Republic of Jämtland's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
