Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hampus Dalberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Savage Hippo booed when Melchester Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Vallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pranas Kirkutis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Dalberg in the 11th minute of play. Melchester Rovers's attack was well implemented in the 16th minute, but when Hampus Dalberg was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 18 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Vallgren came free, but Pranas Kirkutis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klas Vallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melchester Rovers's Joacim Bäcklin got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melchester Rovers's Joacim Bäcklin suffered a concussion after 24 minutes and had to leave the field. When Vėjas Vaitiekaitis fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Savage Hippo's protests and gave Vėjas Vaitiekaitis a yellow card for diving instead. Melchester Rovers made a substitution. Agne Hökkvist replaced Joacim Bäcklin. After 26 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Vėjas Vaitiekaitis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egidijus Buivys in the 33rd minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Patrick Samuelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Vėjas Vaitiekaitis hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Melchester Rovers's Agne Hökkvist tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Savage Hippo's Pranas Kirkutis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agne Hökkvist in the 58th minute of play. Jonathan Pi charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Pi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patrick Samuelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egidijus Buivys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zenonas Garnys in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Samuelsson saved Melchester Rovers from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agne Hökkvist in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pranas Kirkutis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hampus Dalberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pranas Kirkutis having to interfere. A collision led to Melchester Rovers getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Klas Vallgren hit a great ball.
