Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matias Orlin got the match started through his kick off. When Soldiers of Jah Army's Ildefonso Criston in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Samuhi's goalie prevented a goal. If Hilario Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Criston struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Fabian Ixidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soldiers of Jah Army. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hilario Costante in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Ixidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Costante in the 10th minute of play forced Samuhi's goalkeeper Fabian Ixidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Costante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Ixidor having to interfere. Samuhi's Fabian Ixidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Costante in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Perez got free with Salvador Pes in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Samuhi's goalkeeper Fabian Ixidor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Perez struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Salvador Pes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samuhi. In the 37th minute, Florencio Sidoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Orlin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Samuhi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 46 minutes into the game, Florencio Sidoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soldiers of Jah Army's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samuhi the free kick. Matias Orlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ildefonso Criston stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matias Orlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Pes having to interfere. Salvador Pes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Soldiers of Jah Army got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Roldan. Tomas Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Salvador Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Pes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Soldiers of Jah Army's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Perez came free, but Salvador Pes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Orlin might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador Pes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Orlin ran back to his position shaking his head. Hilario Costante struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Fabian Ixidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soldiers of Jah Army. After a defensive mix-up in Samuhi's zone, Ildefonso Criston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Ixidor came out of the goal and Ildefonso Criston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salvador Pes came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Samuhi's Matias Orlin. But to his dismay, Matias Orlin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. During the 81st minute of the match Florencio Sidoro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Florencio Sidoro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Salvador Pes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Orlin in the 83rd minute of the match. Tomas Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Matias Orlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samuhi's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Orlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Pes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Pes having to interfere. Samuhi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Soldiers of Jah Army for a fine match.
