Peter Sikström came out of the goal and Jens-Ola Askstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Sikström made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Bertil Näfver sent off a good shot on target. If Fredrik Arenstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Bertil Näfver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Änglarna FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertil Näfver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Sikström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Arne Apelqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Fredrik Arenstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fredrik Arenstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Lindblom having to interfere. The Änglarna FF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. St. Mellansjö FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertil Näfver to make the kick off. Änglarna FF's Jens-Ola Askstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Änglarna FF's zone, Fredrik Arenstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Lindblom came out of the goal and Fredrik Arenstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertil Näfver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Peter Sikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertil Näfver struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Peter Sikström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Änglarna FF. Morgan Vallengren hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Leo Wennerqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Lindblom having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Änglarna FF's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Arenstedt came free, but Edgar Lindblom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fredrik Arenstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Änglarna FF's Edgar Lindblom got control of the ball when Sven-Arne Apelqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Arne Apelqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Lindblom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Fredrik Arenstedt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edgar Lindblom, passed just outside the right post.
