The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Caspar Zander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lemmy Beckhaus having to interfere. Lemmy Beckhaus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caspar Zander in the 7th minute. Pieter Schubert succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Nick Maul's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Lemmy Beckhaus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter Schubert in the 17th minute of play forced CF Vocris's goalkeeper Lemmy Beckhaus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karlheinz Riedel during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 20 minutes into the game, Christoph Buhisan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Prodromos Karatzas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Béla Braner managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Vocris's supporters rose to their feet, but Béla Braner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prodromos Karatzas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bettenhagen's Prodromos Karatzas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Béla Braner in the 30th minute of play. 3-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Pieter Schubert elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pieter Schubert in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lemmy Beckhaus saved CF Vocris from getting behind. Pieter Schubert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lemmy Beckhaus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Prodromos Karatzas came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by CF Vocris's Christoph Buhisan. But to his dismay, Christoph Buhisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pieter Schubert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Caspar Zander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pieter Schubert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Béla Braner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Prodromos Karatzas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoph Buhisan struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Prodromos Karatzas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Vocris. Lemmy Beckhaus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter Schubert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Pieter Schubert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lemmy Beckhaus was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Christoph Buhisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Prodromos Karatzas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Pieter Schubert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lemmy Beckhaus was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When Béla Braner fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Vocris's protests and gave Béla Braner a yellow card for diving instead. Prodromos Karatzas was a little too slow when Béla Braner got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 4-3. 84 minutes into the game, Bettenhagen's Pieter Schubert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lemmy Beckhaus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. The audience was convinced that Pieter Schubert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lemmy Beckhaus was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Karlheinz Riedel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Prodromos Karatzas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bettenhagen fully deserved thier win.
