Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rene Rostholm started the match with the kick off. Rene Rostholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Philip Palmer made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Børge Buhr in the 13th minute of play forced 11. Rotterdam Anemones's goalkeeper Philip Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Børge Buhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Philip Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, 11. Rotterdam Anemones's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Philip Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by 11. Rotterdam Anemones's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arthur Shelby was slow to take the kick. During this time Randers A.F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Randers A.F.C.'s corner Arthur Shelby fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Philip Palmer quite easily take care of the ball. In the 25th minute Rene Rostholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Arthur Shelby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Palmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Randers A.F.C. booed when 11. Rotterdam Anemones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Gluck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rene Rostholm succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 32nd playminute. With a little luck, 11. Rotterdam Anemones's Philip Palmer got control of the ball when Rene Rostholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, William Greig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Hélder Soveral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Randers A.F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Rene Rostholms short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Philip Palmer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, 11. Rotterdam Anemones's Paul Hawkes got a free kick in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes, Randers A.F.C.'s Arthur Shelby shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Philip Palmer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Randers A.F.C. reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rod Williamson to make the kick off. Børge Buhr kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 11. Rotterdam Anemones's Philip Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Soveral in the 56th minute of play. Philip Palmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Rostholm's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Arthur Shelby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philip Palmer. 11. Rotterdam Anemones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur Shelby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 74th minute, William Greig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Hélder Soveral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Philip Palmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the match, 11. Rotterdam Anemones's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Soveral came free, but Philip Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Rene Rostholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Rostholm in the 91st minute of the match.
