Stasio Dziewulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Bîndean, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, MZetowe Mastodonty's Bogumil Wasikowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stelian Brumă. Stelian Brumă yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Galati Harbour Cats's zone, Wincenty Klawke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelian Brumă came out of the goal and Wincenty Klawke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Andrei Minda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stelian Brumă came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by MZetowe Mastodonty's Bogumil Wasikowski. But to his dismay, Bogumil Wasikowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wincenty Klawke got free with Stelian Brumă in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Galati Harbour Cats booed when MZetowe Mastodonty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maksymilian Kiszkiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stasio Dziewulski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosmin Gușatu in the 38th minute of play. Damian Ciorobîtcă charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Ciorobîtcă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wincenty Klawke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stelian Brumă. Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 47th minute Andrei Minda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Dziewulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrei Minda was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Damazy Sroka made a precise shot to the right of Stelian Brumă. Galati Harbour Cats's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Stelian Brumă came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by MZetowe Mastodonty's Bogumil Wasikowski. But to his dismay, Bogumil Wasikowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Stelian Brumă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogumil Wasikowski in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Wincenty Klawke managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZetowe Mastodonty's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincenty Klawke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stelian Brumă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Wincenty Klawke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stelian Brumă. Galati Harbour Cats's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wincenty Klawke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. With a little luck, MZetowe Mastodonty's Stasio Dziewulski got control of the ball when Cosmin Gușatu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, MZetowe Mastodonty's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Bîndean came free, but Stasio Dziewulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galati Harbour Cats's Stelian Brumă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Perkowski in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Cosmin Gușatu hit a great ball. When Petruț Bîndean came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Galati Harbour Cats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petruț Bîndean couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Galati Harbour Cats players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MZetowe Mastodonty.
