In the 16th minute Bruno Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Sebzda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Lewandowski in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Cavia Pyskowice's goalkeeper Ryszard Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Kajetan Sebzda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Dida. Kajetan Sebzda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Pedro Luís de Moraes got a free kick in the 26th minute. With 31 minutes on the clock, Valdo Teixeira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Palestra do Interior:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Cavia Pyskowice:s goal. Bruno Dida had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ludomil Kaczorowski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 40 played minutes FC Cavia Pyskowice got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Kaczorowski. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ryszard Nowak came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Bruno Lewandowski. But to his dismay, Bruno Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Samuca Soares replaced Bruninho Mbappè. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Ryszard Nowak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save FC Cavia Pyskowice from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, FC Cavia Pyskowice's goalkeeper Ryszard Nowak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Fontes. Pedro Luís de Moraes's late challenge caught a FC Cavia Pyskowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Luís de Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Soares in the 95th minute of play forced FC Cavia Pyskowice's goalkeeper Ryszard Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca Soares took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ryszard Nowak. Ryszard Nowak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Palestra do Interior left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Cavia Pyskowice.
