The KS Olimpia Warszawa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigel Botescu should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Damazy Joks managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Olimpia Warszawa's supporters rose to their feet, but Damazy Joks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilhelm Galle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kind of Blue's Anastasios Pallini was substituted for Horea Boian. Gigel Botescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilhelm Galle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Joks, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Gigel Botescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Käller's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Damazy Joks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kind of Blue walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
