Johnathan Bowden scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Laureys, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl Laureys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnathan Bowden in the 10th minute of the match. Karl Laureys came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden. But to his dismay, Johnathan Bowden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a little luck, FC Ouagadougou National's Karl Laureys got control of the ball when Abid Bubalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Ouagadougou National's Karl Laureys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnathan Bowden in the 22nd minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Johnathan Bowden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ouagadougou National's Karl Laureys was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Louis-Philippe Pelsmaeckers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ouagadougou National's Karl Laureys was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter-Jan Rummens in the 87th minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Christof Deroek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Selebi-Phikwe's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
