After a defensive mix-up in Lions United's zone, Ronald Van Achteren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stephan Vanden Driessche came out of the goal and Ronald Van Achteren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stephan Vanden Driessche came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Circus BAF's Fabian Spânu. But to his dismay, Fabian Spânu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Cunha in the 14th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Stephan Vanden Driessche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fábio Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Rutgeerts came free, but Stephan Vanden Driessche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Luís Fábio Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Stephan Vanden Driessche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stephan Vanden Driessche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Rutgeerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Luís Fábio Cunha notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Lions United's Stephan Vanden Driessche. Stephan Vanden Driessche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Circus BAF booed when Lions United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guy Cox didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fábio Cunha took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stephan Vanden Driessche. Stephan Vanden Driessche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 34thth minute of the game Luís Fábio Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lions United's Stephan Vanden Driessche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Luís Fábio Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Circus BAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 40 minutes into the game, Luís Fábio Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Stephan Vanden Driessche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the match, Luís Fábio Cunha notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Lions United's Stephan Vanden Driessche. Stephan Vanden Driessche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dany-Adams Gijselinckx was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Lautaro Martínez Gullotta made a precise shot to the right of Stephan Vanden Driessche. Lions United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Luís Fábio Cunha took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Stephan Vanden Driessche to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fábio Cunha in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stephan Vanden Driessche saved Lions United from getting behind. After 60 minutes Lions United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abdel Masoud Ghannouchi who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Circus BAF's corner Abdel Masoud Ghannouchi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stephan Vanden Driessche quite easily take care of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Luís Fábio Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Stephan Vanden Driessche. Lions United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Lions United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Luís Fábio Cunha scored to the left of an out of position Stephan Vanden Driessche, making the score, 0-12. Circus BAF made a substitution. Abubakar Al Abdullah replaced Ronald Van Achteren. 72 minutes into the match, Kobe Mesmaeckers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stephan Vanden Driessche. Lions United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kobe Mesmaeckers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. 78 minutes into the game, Kobe Mesmaeckers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Stephan Vanden Driessche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the match, Samuel Namasivayam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stephan Vanden Driessche. Lions United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Namasivayam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-15. In the 86th minute, Circus BAF's Christopher Rutgeerts dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-16. In the 89th minute, Kobe Mesmaeckers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stephan Vanden Driessche. The goal made the score 0-17. Rudy Smolders hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Kobe Mesmaeckers put it in 0-18 from a short distance just to the right of Stephan Vanden Driessche. Circus BAF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
