In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Michel Čech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Torsten Abelsson sped through Esquirla FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michel Čech. If Maxim Tsigalko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Steve De Wilde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Tsigalko, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Esquirla FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ke Jian Yun was slow to take the kick. During this time Beek City's players had a chance to rest. Marius Pascaru charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marius Pascaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Esquirla FC's Yvan Maes was substituted for Pawel Pruss. After 23 played minutes Beek City got a freekick which was hit by Marius Pascaru. 26 minutes into the game, Torsten Abelsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Michel Čech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxim Tsigalko in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Steve De Wilde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st match minute, Beek City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Magdaleno to maneuver through the defense. Michel Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Abelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Čech came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Beek City's Torsten Abelsson. But to his dismay, Torsten Abelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Esquirla FC's Michel Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Abelsson in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, Beek City's Steve De Wilde got control of the ball when Maxim Tsigalko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The Beek City fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Beek City's Torsten Abelsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Michel Čech came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Beek City's Torsten Abelsson. But to his dismay, Torsten Abelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After 65 minutes Esquirla FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ke Jian Yun who took care of the corner kick. Steve De Wilde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Tsigalko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Abelsson in the 80th minute of the match. After 80 minutes, Torsten Abelsson made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Esquirla FC's Michel Čech tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Torsten Abelsson in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Michel Čech, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Michel Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Abelsson in the 87th minute of play. Torsten Abelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Steve De Wilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlo Arruta in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Arlo Arruta notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of Beek City's Steve De Wilde. Steve De Wilde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beek City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
