Virgilio Mateus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shen Xun in the 3rd minute of play. Virgilio Mateus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shen Xun, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Andrez Francken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joonatan Schols was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shen Xun got free with Virgilio Mateus in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgilio Mateus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shen Xun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Mateus made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Shen Xun sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Brugge United's Jean-Louis Rijniers got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the game, North Hill United's Shen Xun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgilio Mateus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Virgilio Mateus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shen Xun in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, North Hill United's Shen Xun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgilio Mateus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jean-Louis Rijniers kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind North Hill United's goalkeeper Joonatan Schols, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shen Xun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Virgilio Mateus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Louis Rijniers hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Shen Xun notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Brugge United's Virgilio Mateus. Virgilio Mateus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Xavier Van Huytvenne made the kick off in the second half. When Til Wolfram came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Brugge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Til Wolfram couldn't finish the play. North Hill United's Niels Vandamme was substituted for Pacho Papachantzoulis. North Hill United made a substitution. Bruno La Rose replaced Arne Thielemans. After 63 minutes of play, North Hill United's Xavier Van Huytvenne made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Mateus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joonatan Schols made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Til Wolfram sent off a good shot on target. Jean-Louis Rijniers hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Til Wolfram recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joonatan Schols. Til Wolfram showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Liu Han Kang kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Til Wolfram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonatan Schols saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brugge United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for North Hill United.
