Spectators: 457 (Terracing: 343, Seating: 105, VIP seats: 9) Mikael Meck started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Mårten Abrahamsson came free, but Belchior Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Meck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th match minute, Melchester Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Wilfred Vrede left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Gallardeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fulgencio Gartzi scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronny Westerberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Melchester Rovers's Mårten Abrahamsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Ronny Westerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sancar Talaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikael Meck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melchester Rovers's Ronny Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 26th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's Mikael Meck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belchior Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, Melchester Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Wilfred Vrede made the kick off in the second half. Ronny Westerberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfred Vrede in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mårten Abrahamsson in the 54th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Ronny Westerberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfred Vrede. In the 59th minute, Mårten Abrahamsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Melchester Rovers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Melchester Rovers getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mikael Meck hit a great ball. Ronny Westerberg came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Gallardeta's Fulgencio Gartzi. But to his dismay, Fulgencio Gartzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Ronny Westerberg made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Fulgencio Gartzi sent off a good shot on target. La Gallardeta's Clemente Anaya was substituted for Fulgencio Gartzi. Claudio Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mårten Abrahamsson in the 74th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Melchester Rovers's Ronny Westerberg got control of the ball when Clemente Anaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mårten Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Anaya in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ronny Westerberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 86th minute, Hans Svensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match, Clemente Anaya got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ronny Westerberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Melchester Rovers booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfred Vrede didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Anaya.

The La Gallardeta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Gallardeta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
