The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robert Billington took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of 7. Lions booed when FC Saxon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszek Skrzypek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Billington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacy Ciechocki having to interfere. After 4 minutes, Andrew Brooks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 7. Lions and the FC Saxon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Andrew Brooks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dobromir Mosiniak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milosz Flis in the 14th minute of the match. When Andrew James fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 7. Lions's protests and gave Andrew James a yellow card for diving instead. Andrew James hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, 7. Lions's David Roberts got a free kick in the 17th minute. A collision led to FC Saxon getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dobromir Mosiniak hit a great ball. Radowit Bycofski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Webster having to interfere. With his leg Mark Webster managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when FC Saxon's Radowit Bycofski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Radowit Bycofski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th match minute, 7. Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Roberts to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 30 minutes, Iwan Kolacki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Saxon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwan Kolacki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mark Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radowit Bycofski in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to 7. Lions getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Robert Billington hit a great ball. Radowit Bycofski took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mark Webster. Mark Webster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Shaine Gordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute Shaine Gordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Ciechocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7. Lions's Mark Webster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Flis in the 39th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, FC Saxon's Dobromir Mosiniak made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Webster was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th match minute, 7. Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Harrison to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes 7. Lions got a freekick which was hit by Michael Rea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Kolacki in the 47th minute of play forced 7. Lions's goalkeeper Mark Webster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radowit Bycofski was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to FC Saxon getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dobromir Mosiniak hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timothy McDonald during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Saxon booed when 7. Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Rea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dobromir Mosiniak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrew James hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Iwan Kolacki missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 65 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Mark Webster right hand side. Mark Webster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Bycofski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Nowacki in the 73rd minute of play forced 7. Lions's goalkeeper Mark Webster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Webster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Bycofski, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Derreck Horrocks put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of 7. Lions:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Saxon:s goal. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for FC Saxon. Radowit Bycofski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mark Webster. 3-0. In the 84th minute, Jan Nowacki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mark Webster was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jan Nowacki took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mark Webster. Mark Webster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 92 minutes into the match, Milosz Flis notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of 7. Lions's Mark Webster. Mark Webster was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Saxon fully deserved thier win.
