Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Franco Moscatelli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gilberto Izel scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Lauro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Scaloneta's Enrique Rozarius got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, Guansa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Froila to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Rozarius came free, but Alfonso Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gilberto Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Scaloneta's Mark Vennerlund quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alvaro Gabino, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Enrique Rozarius ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Enrique Rozarius got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfonso Lauro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. La Scaloneta were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Guansa's much stronger midfield.
