Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Shi Bang Xiang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mårten Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikael Meck to strike the kick off in the second half. André Carrillo made a great header on FC Jamala's corner, it was just that Melchester Rovers's Ronny Westerberg managed to reach the ball for a save. 65 minutes into the match, FC Jamala's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Meck came free, but Shi Bang Xiang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Meck's late challenge caught a FC Jamala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Meck helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Melchester Rovers getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Mikael Meck hit a great ball. Shi Bang Xiang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Meck in the 78th minute of the match. Stig Vikström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shi Bang Xiang having to interfere. In the 91st minute FC Jamala were awarded a corner. André Carrillo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Jamala's corner André Carrillo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ronny Westerberg quite easily take care of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
