Niklas Bäck kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Merrill Banks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thames Ironworks FC's Dick Melander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodney Hagen to make the kick off. If Chance Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thames Ironworks FC played a much better game than Racing Miami Futbol Club and deserved their victory. The Racing Miami Futbol Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
