C A U's Nicasio Gergori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Marques in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of C A U booed when Quebrachitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Montay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrachitos FC's zone, Augusto Ipar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Satordi came out of the goal and Augusto Ipar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ignacio Rico fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quebrachitos FC's protests and gave Ignacio Rico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Quebrachitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Rico to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Ipar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Cuarto hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Jesus Ramos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Satordi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Carlomagno. Benicio Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aquilino Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Gergori having to interfere. Martin Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Abastas during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Daniel Abastas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amado Argi to strike the kick off in the second half. Benicio Iban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Iban got free with Nicasio Gergori in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicasio Gergori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Marques in the 63rd minute of the match. C A U's Amado Argi got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabricio Atarratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Nicasio Gergori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amado Argi hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Benicio Iban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nicasio Gergori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Amado Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Frederik in the 92nd minute of play. Despite being the better team, Quebrachitos FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
