The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Fred Haney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zico Zellier in the 8th minute of play. Fred Haney made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Thierry Henry sent off a good shot on target. Fred Haney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Thierry Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thierry Henry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Haney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Jurand Snaza kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Fred Haney successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fred Haney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thierry Henry in the 26th minute. Fred Haney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Zellier in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute Zico Zellier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Haney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Haney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zico Zellier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fred Haney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zico Zellier's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zico Zellier in the 39th minute of play forced Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Fred Haney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zico Zellier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Fred Haney made a huge save. After 42 minutes, Elias Pagomari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GuateFortín and the Real Kuskatan C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Elias Pagomari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 44th minute of play forced Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Fred Haney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Haney made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Sven-Edvin Jansson sent off a good shot on target. Danilo Ocampo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zico Zellier to make the kick off. Fred Haney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Zellier in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Zico Zellier made a precise shot to the right of Fred Haney. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Fred Haney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Henry in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Henry in the 57th minute of play forced Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Fred Haney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliks Drzewucki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GuateFortín made a substitution. David Ruiz replaced Máximo Perrone. Thierry Henry took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Haney. Fred Haney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Fred Haney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Henry in the 65th minute of the match. Frans Escajadillo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Augustin Ştefănuţ was substituted for Frans Escajadillo. Real Kuskatan C.F. made a substitution. William Rodriguez replaced Mario Serrano. In the 67th match minute, Real Kuskatan C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Escajadillo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido got control of the ball when Izydor Czubski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led GuateFortín's Zico Zellier to fire away a dangerous shot which Fred Haney despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 77th minute Zico Zellier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Haney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Haney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thierry Henry went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Ramon Costas's late challenge caught a GuateFortín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Costas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Ramon Costas got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 89th minute, Thierry Henry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GuateFortín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Thierry Henry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Haney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Thierry Henry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Gomez struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Fred Haney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GuateFortín. GuateFortín were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Real Kuskatan C.F. for a fine match.
