In the 34th minute Egídio Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Tobaczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Zryw Samsonów's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Hermes came free, but Ziemowit Tobaczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
