C.'s Doriva Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Rameriz in the 9th minute of play. Laureano Rameriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Carvalho having to interfere. Doriva Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Furtado in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Laureano Rameriz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doriva Carvalho was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Caxinha F. C. defense, Fermin Furtado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doriva Carvalho. The Caxinha F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doriva Carvalho should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Laureano Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Fermin Furtado sped through Caxinha F. C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Doriva Carvalho. In the 32nd minute, Ronaldinho de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doriva Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Furtado in the 33rd minute of the match. The Fuerte Esperanza FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Fuerte Esperanza FC's Fermin Furtado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the game, Fuerte Esperanza FC's Fermin Furtado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doriva Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Doriva Carvalho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 86th match minute, Caxinha F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Arruda to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Caxinha F. C.'s zone, Laureano Rameriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doriva Carvalho came out of the goal and Laureano Rameriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Fuerte Esperanza FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caxinha F. C. throughout the match.
