Luis Celipe came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Capitolio FC's Victor Lizar. But to his dismay, Victor Lizar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luis Celipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Lizar in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fabian Demario made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, ESMERALDA F.C.'s Luis Celipe got control of the ball when Freddy Berenguer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute Fabian Demario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Capitolio FC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Azubeli. 63 minutes into the match, Capitolio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Demario came free, but Lisandro Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Capitolio FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rene Azubeli hit a great ball. Freddy Berenguer in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luis Celipe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lisandro Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Demario in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Capitolio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Lleir came free, but Lisandro Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ESMERALDA F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Victor Lizar came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Capitolio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Lizar couldn't finish the play. The supporters of ESMERALDA F.C. booed when Capitolio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball.
