Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) PeñaroL's Tiburcio Maju started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baltasar Florinio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiburcio Maju's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Baltasar Florinio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiburcio Maju went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Tiburcio Maju fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PeñaroL's protests and gave Tiburcio Maju a yellow card for diving instead. Vagner Lieber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Leocadio in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Arturo Estefan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PeñaroL and the Carpintería AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Carpintería AFC booed when PeñaroL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Estefan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Carpintería AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Maju came free, but Baltasar Florinio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Suero kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When PeñaroL's Tiburcio Maju in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carpintería AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Domingos Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PeñaroL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Cai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 minutes of play, Carpintería AFC's Jimeno Leocadio made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vagner Lieber was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimeno Leocadio made a kick off. Jimeno Leocadio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Vagner Lieber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes in the game Severo Navarro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jimeno Leocadio. Jimeno Leocadio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, PeñaroL's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Leocadio came free, but Vagner Lieber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jimeno Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Florinio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimeno Leocadio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Tiburcio Maju left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PeñaroL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 84th minute, Tadeo Lluques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th match minute, PeñaroL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Maju to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Hodei hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Tiburcio Maju hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PeñaroL walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
