Los Tigres de Funes's Jeremias Montez got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Rayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melchor Eder charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melchor Eder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Ceci Basket Ball Club got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Eder. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Cristian Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Tigres de Funes's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Rayman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Sanson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Everardo Sanson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Lorenz's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Los Tigres de Funes's Cristian Rayman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Everardo Sanson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 23 minutes of play, Ceci Basket Ball Club's Arsenio Locaio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Santiago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Rayman in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Sanson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Arsenio Locaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Santiago. Los Tigres de Funes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arsenio Locaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Fausto Hever hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Jeremias Montez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Everardo Sanson. Ceci Basket Ball Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 39th minute Fabio Rencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Sanson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Lorenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Lorenz in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Sanson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aureliano Adrio kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Lorenz in the 47th minute of play forced Ceci Basket Ball Club's goalkeeper Everardo Sanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Ivan Lorenz sped through Ceci Basket Ball Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Everardo Sanson. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Locaio to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Cristian Rayman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Ceci Basket Ball Club's Everardo Sanson got control of the ball when Cristian Rayman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Lorenz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Melchor Eder kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Cristian Rayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Sanson having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Ceci Basket Ball Club's Fabio Rencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Santiago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. After having played for 78 minutes, Cristian Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Tigres de Funes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Rayman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Esteve Bilbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Rayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Everardo Sanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceci Basket Ball Club's Everardo Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Lorenz in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Cristian Rayman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Rayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Sanson having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, Los Tigres de Funes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Bilbo to maneuver through the defense. Ceci Basket Ball Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
