The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Rocco Espinosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Karapetyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay Mueller to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute of the match Rocco Espinosa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tigran Karapetyan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Khachatryan were furious when Duke Carney was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 10 minutes into the game, one of Khachatryan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Khachatryan:s Tigran Karapetyan showed great skill when he stopped Rocco Espinosa:s penalty. In the 14th match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by A.J. Wolfe to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Scot Sampson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tigran Karapetyan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jay Mueller kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Tigran Karapetyan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocco Espinosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tigran Karapetyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Field in the 20th minute of play. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Caleb Strong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by A.J. Wolfe in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by A.J. Wolfe in the 23rd minute of play forced DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Caleb Strong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Kraig Madden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khachatryan's supporters rose to their feet, but Kraig Madden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caleb Strong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bryon Waters came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Khachatryan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryon Waters couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers A.J. Wolfe in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caleb Strong saved DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO from getting behind. D.J. Alexander kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute A.J. Wolfe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caleb Strong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Field in the 46th minute of play forced Khachatryan's goalkeeper Tigran Karapetyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daron Thorne charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daron Thorne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Daron Thorne made the kick off in the second half. Tigran Karapetyan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from D.J. Alexander, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Khachatryan's Tigran Karapetyan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Khachatryan from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute Rocco Espinosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Karapetyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tigran Karapetyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocco Espinosa in the 62nd minute of the match. Caleb Strong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron Thorne in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play, Khachatryan's Daron Thorne made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caleb Strong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caleb Strong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from A.J. Wolfe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.J. Wolfe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Caleb Strong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khachatryan's A.J. Wolfe got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute Bryon Waters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caleb Strong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goal looked a bit too open when A.J. Wolfe came free, but Caleb Strong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caleb Strong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from A.J. Wolfe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daron Thorne was slow to take the kick. During this time Khachatryan's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daron Thorne almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Caleb Strong did a great save. When Khachatryan's Daron Thorne in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalie prevented a goal. Jose Field came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tigran Karapetyan could save by the left post. Tigran Karapetyan made an important save on a dangerous shot by D.J. Alexander in the 93rd minute. Jose Field kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
