Ubendu Loyas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matei Bermejo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Jardel in the 11th minute of the match. With a little luck, Grêmio RK75's Mazarópi Reinke got control of the ball when Fliz Velilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Grêmio RK75's Mario Jardel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matei Bermejo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► defense, Franklin Mello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matei Bermejo. The ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matei Bermejo should have stopped the shot. Flávio de Lara hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Fliz Velilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mazarópi Reinke. That made the score 1-2 after 25 minutes of play. In the 29th minute, Franklin Mello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio RK75 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Matei Bermejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 36 minutes ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonas Mendes who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Flávio de Lara heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Grêmio RK75's Mario Jardel got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matei Bermejo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Manolito Queto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazarópi Reinke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubendu Loyas made a kick off. Mazarópi Reinke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubendu Loyas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fliz Velilla fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s protests and gave Fliz Velilla a yellow card for diving instead. Fliz Velilla kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jonas Mendes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Ubendu Loyas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mazarópi Reinke was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The audience was convinced that Manolito Queto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mazarópi Reinke was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Franklin Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 2-4 became the score in the 73rd minute when Mario Jardel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fliz Velilla kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The long shot by Jonas Mendes in the 87th minute really tested Matei Bermejo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ubendu Loyas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Grêmio RK75's Flávio de Lara got a free kick in the 91st minute. Mazarópi Reinke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubendu Loyas in the 93rd minute of play. Manolito Queto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mazarópi Reinke having to make a save.
