Haakon á Borg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Hedkvist in the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Club Atlético La Vía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Sanchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Hedkvist in the 17th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Haakon á Borg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Michel Hedkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Helström in the 26th minute of play forced Club Atlético La Vía's goalkeeper Cirilo Bernard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club Atlético La Vía getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Teodosio Nesto hit a great ball. With his leg Cirilo Bernard managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Cura del Futbol's Jörn Helström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 30 minutes into the game, Jörn Helström lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Cirilo Bernard. 33 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Sanchez came free, but Haakon á Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Bernard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Helström, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 39 minutes Club Atlético La Vía's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl-Erik Nordal who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Cura del Futbol's corner Karl-Erik Nordal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cirilo Bernard quite easily take care of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Käcker came free, but Haakon á Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Wen Fei Peng put in a rough tackle. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Lennart Käcker made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lennart Käcker got free with Haakon á Borg in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Haakon á Borg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lennart Käcker. After 64 minutes Cura del Futbol's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saul Ostots who took care of the corner kick. Pablo Solari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodosio Nesto made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Matthy Vandekerkhove. Haakon á Borg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Echeverri's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jimeno Geofredo hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Claudio Echeverri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haakon á Borg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Echeverri came free, but Haakon á Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, Club Atlético La Vía's Claudio Echeverri made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haakon á Borg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
