After 15 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Errapel. Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedikt Bensch in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Poz to maneuver through the defense. Benedikt Bensch kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Cordarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Hertha 1969 played a much better game than Deportivo Balvanera and deserved their victory. The Deportivo Balvanera players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
