Erik Cabrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berenjenas de Punto Fijo. 5 minutes into the game, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Ekaitz Azcaraso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Cabrera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Oro Villalon put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Erik Cabrera. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Ekaitz Azcaraso put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Erik Cabrera. In the 14th minute, Ekaitz Azcaraso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Erik Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekaitz Azcaraso in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Rich Lawson came free, but Amado Ciscal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ernest Reeder fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Waialua's protests and gave Ernest Reeder a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Waialua's Ernest Reeder got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute of the match, Bruce Singer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amado Ciscal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bruce Singer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Ciscal having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Waialua's goal looked a bit too open when Ekaitz Azcaraso came free, but Erik Cabrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Bruce Singer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amado Ciscal. Bruce Singer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Erik Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oro Villalon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Kaiet Ambrosio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Erik Cabrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Ekaitz Azcaraso sped through Waialua's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Cabrera. 44 minutes into the match, Waialua's goal looked a bit too open when Ekaitz Azcaraso came free, but Erik Cabrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ekaitz Azcaraso in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Cabrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ekaitz Azcaraso to make the kick off. Erik Cabrera came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Ekaitz Azcaraso. But to his dismay, Ekaitz Azcaraso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Ekaitz Azcaraso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Erik Cabrera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 61st minute, Ekaitz Azcaraso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Cabrera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Erik Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ixidor Herquinigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eutor Besteo in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Cabrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's zone, Bruce Singer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Ciscal came out of the goal and Bruce Singer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the game, Eutor Besteo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-9. Erik Cabrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Waialua's Bruce Singer got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82ndth minute of the game Eutor Besteo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waialua's Erik Cabrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erik Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eutor Besteo in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Waialua's goal looked a bit too open when Ixidor Herquinigo came free, but Erik Cabrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89th play minutes Eutor Besteo shot 1-10, a short shot which went by Erik Cabrera and just under the crossbar into goal. 96 minutes into the match, Waialua's goal looked a bit too open when Eutor Besteo came free, but Erik Cabrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo played a much better game than Waialua and deserved their victory. The Waialua players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
