Danilo Maranhenses short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Dudley Blankenship to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dudley Blankenship stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Todd's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Danilo Maranhense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dudley Blankenship read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. A hard shot 12 in the game by Danilo Maranhense from a close distance when the talented Dudley Blankenship managed to make a qualified save. Fountain Inn's players were relieved. With a little luck, Fountain Inn's Dudley Blankenship got control of the ball when Danilo Maranhense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Todd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Dudley Blankenship managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Illinois Bluewaters's Danilo Maranhense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şeray Gürgen in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dudley Blankenship saved Fountain Inn from getting behind. Colby Bennett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rashad Caudill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Roger Myles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fountain Inn booed when Illinois Bluewaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Brogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Dante Todd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Illinois Bluewaters's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Todd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dudley Blankenship breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Fountain Inn's Dudley Blankenship got control of the ball when Danilo Maranhense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sal Jarrell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dudley Blankenship having to make a save. Dante Todd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudley Blankenship having to interfere. Lewis Whitmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudley Blankenship having to interfere. If Şeray Gürgen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dudley Blankenship was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Dante Todd capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dante Todd really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Maranhense made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Illinois Bluewaters got a freekick which was hit by Şeray Gürgen. Dante Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Dudley Blankenship tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Illinois Bluewaters's Dante Todd got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Şeray Gürgen notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fountain Inn's Dudley Blankenship. Dudley Blankenship was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Danilo Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josiah Bernstein made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Illinois Bluewaters's Güneş İltemur. Güneş İltemur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dudley Blankenship tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudley Blankenship having to interfere. Dudley Blankenship showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Dante Todd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Illinois Bluewaters's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Todd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dudley Blankenship showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Maranhense in the 78th minute of the match. Dudley Blankenship took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Todd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Todd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudley Blankenship having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Şeray Gürgen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dudley Blankenship. Fountain Inn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şeray Gürgen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Danilo Maranhense struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Dudley Blankenship didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Illinois Bluewaters. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Şeray Gürgen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Illinois Bluewaters's supporters rose to their feet, but Şeray Gürgen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dudley Blankenship breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Danilo Maranhense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dudley Blankenship was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Şeray Gürgen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Todd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dudley Blankenship showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Maranhense in the 98th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Illinois Bluewaters were the better team. Illinois Bluewaters's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
