With a little luck, AC DeMiRHaN's Demiralp Bintuğ got control of the ball when Dale Kirkpatrick tried to sneak it across the goal line. University of Rochester:s Andrei Cerbu showed great skill when he stopped Wen Nan Fan:s penalty. 23 minutes into the match, Wen Nan Fan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrei Cerbu. University of Rochester's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wen Nan Fan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guo Jun Jing in the 26th minute of play forced University of Rochester's goalkeeper Andrei Cerbu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrei Cerbu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Sha Zhou, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The crowd rose to their feet as AC DeMiRHaN's Wen Nan Fan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrei Cerbu. That made the score 0-3 after 54 minutes of play. With a little luck, University of Rochester's Andrei Cerbu got control of the ball when Wen Nan Fan tried to sneak it across the goal line.
