Luisito Egun's late challenge caught a Athletic Suarez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisito Egun helped the player get up and apologised. Luisito Egun hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Atorrantes F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Mero to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Athletic Suarez's Roman Berriotxoa got a free kick in the 13th minute. The supporters of Atorrantes F. C. booed when Athletic Suarez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Gerazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Athletic Suarez's Gabriel Tartalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Muno in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Muno in the 22nd minute of play forced Athletic Suarez's goalkeeper Gabriel Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Atorrantes F. C. got a freekick which was hit by 许广德. In the 29th minute, Tomas Beltxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Athletic Suarez's Tomas Beltxe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isaac Aires. That made the score 2-1 after 31 minutes of play. In the 38th minute Luisito Egun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Tartalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zorion Sarri in the 39th minute of play. Zorion Sarri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Muno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gabriel Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zorion Sarri in the 46th minute of play forced Athletic Suarez's goalkeeper Gabriel Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Athletic Suarez fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! In the 50th minute there was a penalty for Atorrantes F. C.. Celso Pueblo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gabriel Tartalo. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Gerazan made a kick off. Carlos Muno took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Tartalo. Gabriel Tartalo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The supporters of Atorrantes F. C. booed when Athletic Suarez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Muno didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Athletic Suarez's goalkeeper Gabriel Tartalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Muno. In the 72nd minute, Atorrantes F. C.'s Zorion Sarri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. After a rather tough play, Athletic Suarez's Tomas Beltxe got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Atorrantes F. C.'s Celso Pueblo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 87thth minute of the game Zorion Sarri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Athletic Suarez's Gabriel Tartalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Athletic Suarez's goal looked a bit too open when Zorion Sarri came free, but Gabriel Tartalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Athletic Suarez's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celso Pueblo was slow to take the kick. During this time Atorrantes F. C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Atorrantes F. C.'s Celso Pueblo to fire away a dangerous shot which Gabriel Tartalo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zorion Sarri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Zorion Sarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Atorrantes F. C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atorrantes F. C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
