Thanks to some nice moves Igor Lopes could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Osvaldo Ekhi however easily saved by the left post. 99 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar George came free, but Fermin Timo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Club were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Coraya's much stronger midfield.
