Francisco Aureo was a little too slow when Edgardo Obano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Racing Club's Agustin Cefero in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Cefero in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Guib saved FC Fobal Clu from getting behind. After having played for 23 minutes, Nicanor Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgardo Obano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Aureo having to interfere. Inocencio Bihar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edgardo Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Francisco Aureo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Fobal Clu's zone, Agustin Cefero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Guib came out of the goal and Agustin Cefero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Aureo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgardo Obano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 48 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Obano to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, FC Fobal Clu's Inocencio Bihar made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Aureo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Fobal Clu the free kick. Francisco Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Bihar in the 96th minute of play. After having played for 99 minutes, Inocencio Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
