A collision led to Rulais FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cirilo Abreu hit a great ball. Arnaldo Montel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeus AC's Diego Colon managed to work through Rulais FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Diego Colon dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After having played for 19 minutes, Arnaldo Montel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zeus AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Montel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Diego Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Colon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Errando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Braulio Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Montel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Candido Cresitobalo during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute Aurelio Harkaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rulais FC booed when Zeus AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Sarracino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Harkaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Montel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Elizardo came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Zeus AC's Arnaldo Montel. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Montel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Zeus AC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
