Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aurelio Harkaitz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Punua's Generoso Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Errando in the 5th minute of play. Generoso Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Punua got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Dacio. Generoso Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Harkaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Arsenio Errando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rulais FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Errando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Abancens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute Aurelio Harkaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Abancens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Aurelio Harkaitz made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Abancens. Punua's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 34th minute, Arsenio Errando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Abancens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 37 minutes into the game, Alonzo Macerio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Marcelino Elizardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aurelio Harkaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aurelio Harkaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio Belasko to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Tello in the 53rd minute of play forced Punua's goalkeeper Generoso Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Punua's Generoso Abancens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Punua from getting a goal against them. Generoso Abancens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Harkaitz in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Aurelio Harkaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rulais FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Harkaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Arsenio Errando fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Generoso Abancens, passed just outside the right post. Aurelio Harkaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Abancens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Aurelio Belasko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelino Elizardo. Rulais FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Belasko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. When the match was over Rulais FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Punua throughout the match.
