Godfredo Beti hit a great ball. los diablos rojos fc's Bernardo Serapio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Montel in the 8th minute of play. Godfredo Beti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Gomez having to interfere. los diablos rojos fc's Bernardo Serapio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Colon in the 17th minute of play. Lázaro Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Diego Colon came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Zeus AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Colon couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Montel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bernardo Serapio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Eduardo Basajaun managed to get in a good position for a shot. los diablos rojos fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Basajaun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Gomez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braulio Gomez made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Eduardo Basajaun sent off a good shot on target. Rene Mercurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Gomez having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Rene Mercurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Zeus AC's zone, Eduardo Basajaun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Gomez came out of the goal and Eduardo Basajaun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Rene Mercurio managed to get in a good position for a shot. los diablos rojos fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Mercurio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Toro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rene Mercurio made the kick off in the second half. If Rene Mercurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Basajaun in the 59th minute of play forced Zeus AC's goalkeeper Braulio Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Zeus AC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Montel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Montel in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Serapio saved los diablos rojos fc from getting behind. If Rene Mercurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Serapio having to interfere. Arnaldo Montel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Serapio made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Diego Colon sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Zeus AC's Felipe Olentzaro got a free kick in the 77th minute. Braulio Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Mercurio in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Lázaro Sarracino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zeus AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave los diablos rojos fc the free kick. In the 85th minute, Eduardo Basajaun made a precise shot to the right of Braulio Gomez. Zeus AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Bernardo Serapio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Montel, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Eduardo Basajaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Colon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Bernardo Serapio made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The los diablos rojos fc fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zeus AC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
