After some careless play in the Zeus AC defense, Rene Mercurio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braulio Gomez. The Zeus AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Gomez should have stopped the shot. Braulio Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Basajaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Basajaun struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Braulio Gomez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for los diablos rojos fc. Rene Mercurio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Gomez having to make a save. If Eduardo Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Eduardo Basajaun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The los diablos rojos fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rene Mercurio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Gomez having to make a save. Braulio Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Mercurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes Zeus AC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Sarracino. Braulio Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Vedillo in the 36th minute of play. Bernardo Serapio was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Arnaldo Montel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnaldo Montel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 46th minute, Zeus AC's Arnaldo Montel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Serapio. Bernardo Serapio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2.

The wind increased when Arnaldo Montel made the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Montel scored 3-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Serapio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Zeus AC booed when los diablos rojos fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Vedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Zeus AC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Zeus AC's Arnaldo Montel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 70 played minutes los diablos rojos fc got a freekick which was hit by Rene Mercurio. Zeus AC's Braulio Gomez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Zeus AC from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, Eduardo Basajaun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Basajaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Braulio Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braulio Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Mercurio in the 91st minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Zeus AC were victorious despite being under pressure from los diablos rojos fc for much of the match.
