When Arnaldo Montel fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zeus AC's protests and gave Arnaldo Montel a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Hilario Iigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braulio Gomez was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Igor Toro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Innocenzio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Braulio Gomez. Zeus AC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Braulio Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Iigo in the 34th minute of play. Felipe Olentzaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Haitz having to interfere. Pablo Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Hilario Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Braulio Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Hilario Iigo made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Hilario Iigo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Braulio Gomez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Lázaro Sarracino fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zeus AC's protests and gave Lázaro Sarracino a yellow card for diving instead. Lázaro Sarracino hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Anibal Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Montel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urbano Haitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Central Academia booed when Zeus AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Olentzaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Iigo in the 74th minute of play forced Zeus AC's goalkeeper Braulio Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Central Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Colon came free, but Urbano Haitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zeus AC's Froilan Olando got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Zeus AC booed when Central Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Garikoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Central Academia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
