Lennert Van der Vloedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Zbigniew Brudzisz made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Goolen in the 13th minute of play forced RWDM's goalkeeper Tony Vandenberge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Zbigniew Brudzisz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. RWDM's Tony Vandenberge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pál Polyák in the 23rd minute of play. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niels Vandamme in the 27th minute. The corner led ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Niels Vandamme to fire away a dangerous shot which Tony Vandenberge despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 29 minutes of play, ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Billy Goolen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Vandenberge was left in no man's land by his defense there! ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Zbigniew Brudzisz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennert Van der Vloedt in the 32nd minute of play. Pál Polyák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Vandenberge having to interfere. Zbigniew Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennert Van der Vloedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbigniew Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbin van Persie in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Stuijckens in the 52nd minute of play forced ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's goalkeeper Zbigniew Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rdth minute of the game Robbin van Persie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Zbigniew Brudzisz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Gregory got free with Tony Vandenberge in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony Vandenberge made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Roman Gregory sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute Billy Goolen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Vandenberge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fre Schoovaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Tony Vandenberge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Goolen in the 70th minute of the match. Tony Vandenberge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Gregory in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Roman Gregory left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Tony Vandenberge was a little too slow when Roman Gregory got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-4. 89 minutes into the match, Billy Goolen notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of RWDM's Tony Vandenberge. Tony Vandenberge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Pál Polyák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς got a freekick which was hit by Niels Vandamme. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς played a much better game than RWDM and deserved their victory. The RWDM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
