The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 3rd minute of play forced Brutal DeLuxe's goalkeeper Kevin Kalfhage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macos Graciani made in the 11th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luca Zorita however managed to control. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Macos Graciani hit a great ball. After 20 minutes of play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevin Kalfhage was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Macos Graciani in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brutal DeLuxe's Klas Kollberg. Kevin Kalfhage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brutal DeLuxe were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christian Andreasson took the corner. 35 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Olle Jönsson came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Kalfhage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Brutal DeLuxe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Frisck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Kevin Kalfhage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Brutal DeLuxe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kevin Kalfhage in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 62 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Ekrot threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mexico's Macos Graciani quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Macos Graciani with Joel Gaona as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Brutal DeLuxe's Linus Olsmann quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Macos Graciani, made in the 70th minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Kevin Kalfhage. Brutal DeLuxe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 79 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brutal DeLuxe the free kick. Christian Andreasson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dante Lacasa. Mexico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 84th minute Michel Frisck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevin Kalfhage came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Ekrot in the 91st minute of play. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel Frisck went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.
