Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Allegretti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Coviolo's Armando Allegretti. Armando Allegretti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 minutes Coviolo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Armando Allegretti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Armando Allegretti. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Coviolo's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Armando Allegretti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Armando Allegretti in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 31st minute of the match, Felice Maio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 36 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Allegretti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferruccio Casciano was the one to do the kick off. Coviolo's Armando Allegretti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Coviolo from getting a goal against them. Felice Maio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Allegretti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of the match. With a little luck, Coviolo's Armando Allegretti got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Armando Allegretti in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Allegretti made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmo Nauta in the 89th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. After a rather tough play, Coviolo's Edoardo Di Mattia got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ecuador played a much better game than Coviolo and deserved their victory. The Coviolo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
