A collision led to MZetowe Mastodonty getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sebastian Ekelund hit a great ball. Hudson de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Ekelund in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Roch Haszczak managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZetowe Mastodonty's supporters rose to their feet, but Roch Haszczak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 38 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. MZetowe Mastodonty's Amir Hui quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Ekelund in the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match MZetowe Mastodonty got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zebastian Carlsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Zebastian Carlsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 46 minutes into the match, MZetowe Mastodonty's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Hudson de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Hudson de Carvalho. MZetowe Mastodonty's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. MZetowe Mastodonty's Hudson de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save MZetowe Mastodonty from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute Sebastian Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, MZetowe Mastodonty's Hudson de Carvalho got control of the ball when Facundo Cadaval tried to sneak it across the goal line. MZetowe Mastodonty's Hudson de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save MZetowe Mastodonty from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, MZetowe Mastodonty's goalkeeper Hudson de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. MZetowe Mastodonty's attentive Amir Hui managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, MZetowe Mastodonty's goalkeeper Hudson de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. In the 90th minute, Wieslaw Trzenzalski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, MZetowe Mastodonty's Hudson de Carvalho got control of the ball when Joel Gaona tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Sebastian Ekelund notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MZetowe Mastodonty throughout the match.
