Jan Basaik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Prestes went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lázaro Prestes scored 0-2 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Basaik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Jan Basaik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Bejrut in the 11th minute of play. Iwan Dziuma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Quilino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leszek Sakowicz made in the 19th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fernando Montes immediately put the ball in play. In the 31st minute, Ale Glowacz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Prestes came free, but Jan Basaik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the game Leszek Sakowicz made a throw-in which Lázaro Prestes played forward. A collision led to Heide FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Witold Hodyl hit a great ball. Jan Basaik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Basaik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Prestes in the 45th minute of the match. The throw-in from Kurt Österberg in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Heide FC's Moises Berenguer. Lázaro Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Basaik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lázaro Prestes to make the kick off. When Lázaro Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Heide FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Prestes couldn't finish the play. Heide FC made a substitution. Krzysztof Wiater replaced Lázaro Prestes. Kurt Österberg made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Derman Cruchet. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Jan Basaik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ from getting a goal against them. Heide FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
