Gorom Kanø started the match with the kick off. Dobromir Keep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gorom Kanø fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purple Shadows's protests and gave Gorom Kanø a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Veth Crystals booed when Purple Shadows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gorom Kanø didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Purple Shadows getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Tonin Zogu hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Marcos Lama had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Relja Jurišić. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tonin Zogu got free with Marcos Lama in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Purple Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when He Lin Di came free, but Dobromir Keep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dobromir Keep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes Purple Shadows's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Song Xing who took care of the corner kick. Erik Persson made a great header on Veth Crystals's corner, it was just that Purple Shadows's Dobromir Keep managed to reach the ball for a save. Tonin Zogu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Lama having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dobromir Keep narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Purple Shadows's Dobromir Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Patora in the 29th minute of play. Erik Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Keep having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Purple Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when He Lin Di came free, but Dobromir Keep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dobromir Keep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Persson in the 39th minute of play. Marcos Lama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gorom Kanø, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When Juliusz Januszewski fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Veth Crystals's protests and gave Juliusz Januszewski a yellow card for diving instead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Alberg in the 54th minute of play forced Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Marcos Lama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Lama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonin Zogu in the 59th minute of play. After 60 minutes Veth Crystals's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emil Soliwoda who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Purple Shadows's Amado Gaztea got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Persson in the 63rd minute of play forced Purple Shadows's goalkeeper Dobromir Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Purple Shadows booed when Veth Crystals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwidon Patora didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Erik Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veth Crystals's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Persson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Erik Persson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dobromir Keep, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Wierzchowski in the 89th minute of play forced Purple Shadows's goalkeeper Dobromir Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Wierzchowski in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dobromir Keep saved Purple Shadows from getting behind. After 93 minutes, Ştefan Dobrea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purple Shadows and the Veth Crystals players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ştefan Dobrea kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Purple Shadows's Dobromir Keep proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Purple Shadows from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Veth Crystals had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
